Perrie Edwards<\/a> has admitted that she still sheds tears over Jesy Nelson<\/a>\u2019s decision to leave Little Mix, despite it being five years since her bandmate\u2019s dramatic exit.\u00a0<\/p>\n The former pop duo are no longer on speaking terms after the split.<\/p>\n Perrie, 31, has now compared the pain of losing a bandmate to one not too dissimilar to losing a loved one.<\/p>\n She spoke candidly when admitting she \u2018grieved\u2019 the loss of Jesy after her shocking decision to leave in 2020 due to mental health<\/a> struggles.<\/p>\n The star appeared on Alison Hammond\u2019s new BBC show, where she spilled the gossip on her feelings towards her ex-best friend.\u00a0<\/p>\n Speaking to the TV personality, Perrie expressed: \u2018We talk about it a lot, but I think in the moment we did everything we could, so some things just happen.\u2019<\/p>\n \t\t \t\t The mum-of-one<\/a> went on to admit: \u2018It is really sad; we haven\u2019t spoken since she left.\u2019<\/p>\n The pair met back in 2011 when Simon Cowell picked them to form a group on The X Factor, alongside Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirwall, going on to become one of the world\u2019s most successful girl groups.<\/p>\n Little Mix announced an indefinite hiatus in 2021, with each member pursuing solo careers while also focusing on family life.<\/p>\n \t\t Perrie and Leigh-Anne both gave birth in August 2021, with their babies arriving just days apart.\u00a0<\/p>\n Perrie has since launched her solo music career, with her first solo single, Forget About Us, reaching number 10 in the UK Singles Chart.\u00a0<\/p>\n Meanwhile, alongside her music, Leigh-Anne made her acting debut in the festive 2021 movie Boxing Day<\/a>.<\/p>\n Jade signed with RCA Records to release her own music ahead of her first solo tour ,titled That\u2019s Showbiz Baby!, which begins in October of this year and accompanies her debut solo album of the same name.<\/p>\n \t\t Jesy has released two solo tracks since her decision to leave the band, with her debut single Boyz garnering major backlash online and prompting her to rethink the direction of her solo career.<\/p>\n The ex member is currently on a break from making music as she is expecting twins with her rapper boyfriend, Zion Foster.<\/a><\/p>\n Jesy, 33, has had a tough pregnancy<\/a> so far, having recently been diagnosed with twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome (TTTS) <\/a>and being in and out of hospital with the condition.<\/p>\n Got a story?<\/strong><\/p>\n If you\u2019ve got a celebrity story, video or pictures get in touch with the Metro.co.uk<\/a> entertainment team by emailing us celebtips@metro.co.uk, calling 020 3615 2145 or by visiting our Submit Stuff<\/a> page \u2013 we\u2019d love to hear from you.<\/p>\n Arrow Arrow![\"Mandatory](\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/SEI_249668770-66a7.jpg\")
