A popular Leeds city centre shop has informed customers it will soon close in a heartfelt message.<\/p>\n
TradeMeIn (TMI), based at the St Johns Shopping Centre, will shut on Saturday, May 31. It has been a go-to for many for the latest video games and accessories in recent years.<\/p>\n
The team at the Leeds city centre<\/a> shop took to social media to deliver a \u2018that\u2019s all folks\u2019 message to customers. They posted: \u201cThough it\u2019s undeniably sad to see TMI come to an end, it’s important to remember the significance of shopping at small businesses. Soon the high street will be filled with nothing but big companies, so support your local coffee house, support your indie markets, support your small businesses because they\u2019re all struggling right now. As clich\u00e9d as it sounds, you all saved me during some of my darkest moments and I\u2019ll know you\u2019ll help me through this. I\u2019m so happy I met you all, we had such a blast together. No matter where we end up I know I\u2019ve made friends for life. TMI family forever.<\/p>\n \u201cTo the customers, thank you for everything, it\u2019s been a crazy eight years and it warms my heart to have served you all. Your loyalty and kindness have meant the world to us, and we couldn\u2019t have made it this far without you. Honestly, we need more small businesses.\u201d And, Lee Wadiun added: \u201cThis is awful news.
