Viktor Gyokeres<\/a> did not rule out staying at Sporting Lisbon<\/a> for another season after the Portuguese giants clinched the title on Saturday night.<\/p>\n

The Sweden<\/a> international was on the scoresheet yet again as Sporting beat Vitoria to wrap up the Liga Portugal.<\/p>\n

His 39 goals in 34 games have played a vital role in driving his club to a 21st league title, having bagged an incredible 53 in 51 appearances in all competitions this term.<\/p>\n

This season is widely expected to be his last in Portugal with a host of clubs in the Premier League<\/a> vying for his signature. <\/p>\n

Arsenal are believed to be pushing hard to sign the Swede<\/a> with new sporting director Andrea Berta keen to bring him to the Emirates.<\/p>\n

Chelsea are also thought to be in the race with reports in Portugal claiming the Blues are expecting to launch an offer in the coming weeks.<\/a><\/p>\n

Gyokeres has a release clause of \u00a385million but it is believed Sporting are prepared to let him go this summer for a fee in the region of \u00a360m-\u00a370m.<\/p>\n

But speaking after Saturday\u2019s title-clinching win, the striker insisted his future is still not yet decided.<\/p>\n

\u2018It\u2019s football, I\u2019m still here. I don\u2019t know what\u2019s going to happen. Nobody can predict the future,\u2019 he told Sport TV.<\/p>\n

With Arsenal favourites to land the 26-year-old, recent reports have suggested the Gunners have been told the player is all theirs for a fee of \u00a360m.<\/a><\/p>\n

Arsenal are yet to submit an official offer but the club are said to be putting together a \u00a3200,000-a-week offer to bring him to the Emirates.<\/p>\n

While Gyokeres has publicly remained coy on leaving the club, Sporting are keen to avoid a protracted transfer saga this summer and have already identified a number of possible replacements.<\/p>\n

Manchester United also have interest in the striker who Ruben Amorim previously managed in the Portuguese capital.<\/p>\n

While United are desperate for more firepower, Old Trafford is viewed as an unlikely destination with Ipswich Town\u2019s Liam Delap emerging as a more realistic striker target.<\/p>\n
