\n\tSky Yang<\/a> and Sean Kaufman will star alongside Daisy Edgar-Jones<\/a> in Paramount\u2018s upcoming adaptation of Gabrielle Zevin\u2019s best-selling novel \u201cTomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tSet over several decades, the story follows Sadie and her co-collaborator Sam Masur, who meet as children and then reunite as college students, as well as Sam\u2019s roommate and friend Marx Watanabe, as they build a video game studio called Unfair Games. Yang has been cast as Sam and Kaufman will play Marx. Edgar-Jones will portray Sadie. The story looks at the passion and heartbreak of creative collaboration, and unfolds against the rising video game industry of the 1990s-2000s.<\/p>\n

\n\tSi\u00e2n Heder, an Oscar winner for \u201cCODA,\u201d is directing and writing the screenplay based on drafts by Mark Bomback and Zevin. <\/p>\n

\n\tYang\u2019s credits include a starring role in Justin Lin\u2019s drama \u201cLast Days,\u201d which earned rave reviews at Sundance, as well as the horror film \u201cWhistle.\u201d Yang is slated to appear in Paul Greengrass\u2019s historical drama \u201cThe Uprising\u201d as part of a starry cast that includes Andrew Garfield,\u00a0Jamie Bell,\u00a0Tom Hollander,\u00a0and Cosmo Jarvis. He also \u00a0just finished filming on \u201cUnspeakable\u201d opposite Eliza Scanlen directed by Corinna Faith and recently wrapped on\u00a0\u201cThe Exiles\u201d\u00a0in Taiwan directed by Midi Z with Sam Worthington.\u00a0On TV, he appeared in the ITV series \u201cHolding.\u201d Yang\u2019s film career started with a leading role in Zack Snyder\u2019s\u00a0\u201cRebel Moon.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tKaufman is best known for his work on the\u00a0Amazon Prime Video\u00a0romance series\u00a0\u201cThe Summer I Turned Pretty.\u201d He\u2019s also lined up several splashy projects, including Ron Howard\u2019s war drama \u201cAlone at Dawn,\u201d joining a cast that includes Adam Driver,\u00a0Anne Hathaway and\u00a0Betty Gilpin. Kaufman has also been tapped to star with Matt Damon in an untitled event picture from the Oscar-winning \u201cEverything Everywhere All at Once\u201d duo The Daniels at Universal, as well as \u201cOther Mommy,\u201d as horror thriller with Jessica Chastain that saw its first trailer go viral. Kaufman will reprise his role in \u201cThe Summer I Turned Pretty\u201d in the upcoming film.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cTomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow\u201d will be produced by Temple Hill\u2019s\u00a0Wyck Godfrey,\u00a0Marty Bowen and Isaac Klausner. Zevin will serve as executive producer.\u00a0The film will open Nov. 12, 2027.<\/p>\n

\n\tPublished in 2022, \u201cTomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow\u201d has sold over four million copies worldwide in 40 foreign language territories. It has been named one of the 100 best books of the 21st century by the New York Times\u00a0and one of the best fiction books of the last 30 years\u00a0by the Los Angeles Times.<\/p>\n
