(WFSB) &#8211; A vehicle was reportedly struck by gunfire early Saturday morning in New London, according to police.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Just before 2 a.m. on Saturday, an individual arrived at police headquarters to report that their car had been struck by a bullet earlier that morning in the area of Chelsea Street and East Street.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Officers inspected the vehicle and confirmed that it had been struck by a projectile. Patrol units canvassed the area and found evidence supporting the initial report.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">No injuries were reported, and the investigation is ongoing.<\/p>\n<p>Copyright 2026 WFSB.
