There is a ‘massive’ police presence in Moston tonight (Tuesday, July 28) as officers respond to an incident.<\/p>\n

Eyewitnesses report a large cordon in place on Lightbowne Road near to the junction with Nuthurst Road.<\/p>\n

Nearby residents also report a ‘very large’ police presence on nearby Shawford Road with the road blocked off.<\/p>\n

Photos show the scene show a sizeable cordon in place on the road, with both lanes blocked and multiple cars at the scene.<\/p>\n

A resident said the police had been there since approximately 8:30pm this evening with police cars, unmarked vehicles and fast response ambulances all at the scene.<\/p>\n

The nature of the incident is not yet clear. We have approached Greater Manchester Police for more information.<\/p>\n
