Meadowhall is strengthening its luxury fashion offer after securing new stores from Mint Velvet and Belstaff, alongside a major refurbishment of Michael Kors\u2019 existing flagship at The Avenue, the shopping centre\u2019s premium fashion and lifestyle destination.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The latest deals form part of Meadowhall\u2019s ongoing strategy to expand The Avenue with a curated mix of aspirational fashion brands and upgraded retail concepts.<\/p>\n

Mint Velvet will open a 1,700 sq ft store on The Avenue\u2019s Upper Level, opposite Flannels and Sweaty Betty. The womenswear brand, known for its \u201crelaxed glamour\u201d aesthetic, will join the centre\u2019s growing luxury fashion line-up later this year.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, British heritage brand Belstaff has signed for a 1,400 sq ft store, strengthening Meadowhall\u2019s menswear offer with its collection of outwear, clothing and accessories inspired by the brand\u2019s motorcycling heritage.<\/p>\n

Michael Kors has also invested in a significant refurbishment of its existing 2,600 sq ft store, introducing the brand\u2019s latest retail concept alongside a new double-height shopfront in line with The Avenue\u2019s updated design principles.<\/p>\n

Richard Crowther, Retail Leasing Director at British Land, said: \u201cWe are focused on creating an aspirational, best-of-British and global mix on The Avenue, shaping a complete experience that responds to the way our visitors want to shop aspirational retail.\u201d<\/p>\n

The latest signings follow a series of investments at Meadowhall as the shopping centre continues to attract international fashion brands.
