We allowed \u2018free\u2019 registration to around 5 million people. Nor to travel to the UK, EU &amp; EFTA citizens passed &amp; pass through Passport Control at airports without delay,&#8221; she began.<\/p>\n<p>Baroness Foster continued: &#8220;Sadly, even before the introduction of its new scheme, a number of @EUCouncil member states decided to \u2018teach us a lesson\u2019, not all and they\u2019re continuing to do so now. It\u2019s supposed to be what\u2019s called \u2018reciprocity\u2019 but only appears to work one way. Starmer should have played hardball with @EmmanuelMacron @vonderleyen and some others. But he was weak just like our latest @UKLabour PM @andyburnham who\u2019ll be just as bad. I spent 20 years in Brux, trust me.&#8221; (sic)<\/p>\n<p>Elsewhere, political commentator Lee Harris quipped: &#8220;Hi Jeremy, I just landed in Greece. Absolutely no queuing. Most disconcerting,&#8221; they remarked.
