Police have charged a man with shoplifting after an alleged incident at Birmingham Airport<\/a>. Officers were deployed as part of Project Servator.<\/p>\n

Items were stolen from M&S at Birmingham Airport<\/a>. Anthony Ramsey, 41, was charged with shoplifting on Sunday (July 26).<\/p>\n

Ramsey, of Rosemary Close, is due to appear at Birmingham Magistrates’ Court on August 27. Officers said they are continuing to patrol Birmingham Airport<\/a> as part of Project Servator.<\/p>\n

A spokesman for West Midlands Police<\/a> said: \u201cAnthony Ramsey, from Coventry<\/a>, was charged on Sunday (July 26) after items were stolen from M&S in Birmingham Airport<\/a>. He is due to appear at Birmingham Magistrates’ Court on August 27.<\/p>\n

\u201cProject Servator is a policing operation that aims to disrupt criminality while providing a reassuring presence for the public. Deployments take place regularly and unpredictably in and around Birmingham Airport<\/a> as well as other areas in the force.\u201d<\/p>\n
