{"id":1119209,"date":"2026-07-30T02:07:15","date_gmt":"2026-07-30T02:07:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/1119209\/"},"modified":"2026-07-30T02:07:15","modified_gmt":"2026-07-30T02:07:15","slug":"eastville-teenager-jailed-for-stabbing-man-in-busy-street","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/1119209\/","title":{"rendered":"Eastville teenager jailed for stabbing man in busy street"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A TEENAGER from Eastville has been jailed for five years for stabbing a man in a busy street.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mohammed Akakhail\u2019s victim was in hospital for four days after suffering serious injuries in the attack, which happened on September 5 last year in Stapleton Road, Easton.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Akakhail (pictured above after his arrest), aged 19, of Shamrock Road, also needed hospital treatment after the incident.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Charged with attempted murder, wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and possessing a bladed article, he admitted the weapons charge but denied the others.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A jury at Bristol Crown Court found him guilty of the GBH charge in April.
