The debate has intensified after a series of ownership changes and planned acquisitions involving some of Montenegro\u2019s most influential media outlets, raising questions over the future of media pluralism and editorial independence in a country seeking to complete its EU path.<\/p>\n
Both the European Commission and European Parliament have warned Montenegro about foreign interference, hybrid threats and information manipulation.<\/p>\n
