It works as a transmitter and a receiver. This means you can plug it into an in-flight entertainment system and stream audio to your\u00a0wireless headphones, but you can also plug it into an old car\u2019s audio system and play music from your smartphone. Compared to previous Forerunners, the 970 has the \u201cbrightest AMOLED screen yet,\u201d according to the brand. It also has a built-in microphone and speaker \u2014 a first for the Forerunner line \u2014 so you can answer calls right from your wrist during runs. The Forerunner 970 comes in one size: 47mm.
