Celebrations are underway inside Goodison Park<\/a> as Everton played their final Premier League<\/a> game at the stadium. While Everton won the game 2-0, there were many tears from the loyal followers of the club. It is time to celebrate the ‘Grand Old Lady’ <\/a>now and the whole stadium have remained in their seats to watch the ceremony which the club are putting on – \u2018End of an Era\u2019.<\/p>\n The first singer to entertain the Goodison crowds was Ellis Murphy. The singer has amassed a cult following with his timeless brand of storytelling through his songs. His songs are both current and fresh but also nod towards a a time when troubadours were popular. Ellis has played in coffee shops, live music clubs, castles and concert halls around the UK since his debut performance in 2022,<\/p>\n Most recently her performed a string of bi-monthly shows entitled ‘See What I See’ as well as various other appearances in between. The performance from Ellis came as a surprise to many fans inside Goodison with a confused look the common expression on the faces of many,<\/p>\n Evertonian Ellis performed “It’s a Grand Old Team to Play For” while playing the guitar and harmonica. He also performed Elton John’s ‘I guess that’s why they call it the blues’.<\/p>\n On June 6, 2025 the singer plays his first headline show of the year in the @liverpool_philharmonic music room. Explore Liverpool reported two years ago: “It\u2019s his social media you\u2019ll be seeing all over the place anytime someone mentions to you \u2018the new scouse Bob Dylan\u2019.
