A residential road was sealed off after gunfire was reportedly heard.<\/p>\n

Police descended on Clements Road in Yardley<\/a> after shots were allegedly fired in the early hours of Sunday (May 18).<\/p>\n

A cordon was placed at the junction of Barn Meadow Road while investigations were underway.<\/p>\n

No injuries were reported and extra patrols will be put in place.<\/p>\n

A spokesperson for West Midlands Police<\/a> said: “We\u2019re investigating reports of a firearms discharge on Clements Road in the early hours of this morning (18 May).<\/p>\n

“Fortunately, no injuries were reported.<\/p>\n

“We know how concerning this will have been in the community and we will have extra officers in the area to provide reassurance.”<\/p>\n
