Gwyneth Paltrow shared details about her friendship with Meghan Markle<\/a> in an interview with People published on May 18<\/a>. <\/p>\n

The Goop founder said that although she and Markle aren\u2019t close, they still have a casual relationship. \u201cWe have a text friendship so far. I\u2019ve been traveling quite a bit,\u201d she explained.<\/p>\n

Addressing talk of a feud between them, Paltrow told the publication, \u201cI don\u2019t like that, when people try to pit women against each other.\u201d<\/p>\n

As for Markle\u2019s Netflix lifestyle series \u201cWith Love, Meghan,\u201d Paltrow is open to making an appearance. \u201cSure! Why not? You never know. I don\u2019t bake that well, but I can always try,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Paltrow and Markle Shut Down Feud Rumors With a Surprising Joint Appearance<\/p>\n

In an attempt to stop talk of beef between Paltrow and Markle, the two posted an Instagram Story together on March 25, the Daily Mail reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n

During a Q&A, a fan asked Paltrow, \u201cAre you comprehending the Meghan Markle beef that social media says you two have?\u201d<\/p>\n

Paltrow answered, \u201cI genuinely do not understand this at all whatsoever.\u201d She asked the person beside her, \u201cDo you understand this?\u201d only to show Markle on the screen.<\/p>\n

In March 18, Paltrow told Vanity Fair<\/a>, \u201cI don\u2019t know Meghan and Harry. I mean, I\u2019ve met Meghan, who seems really lovely, but I don\u2019t know her at all.\u201d<\/p>\n

She then quipped, \u201cMaybe I\u2019ll try to get through their security detail and bring them a pie.\u201d<\/p>\n

Referencing Goop and Markle\u2019s lifestyle brand As Ever, Paltrow quickly shut down any competition between the two.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was raised to see other women as friends, not foes. I think there\u2019s always more than enough to go around. Everybody deserves an attempt at everything that they want to try,\u201d she said. <\/p>\n

Paltrow Reveals How She Deals With Controversy<\/p>\n

Paltrow doesn\u2019t let controversy faze her and she told Elle, \u201cWhat I\u2019ve learned over time is that if you are living in integrity, and you are putting out a product that fulfills its intention and is what it says it is, you move through controversy.\u201d<\/p>\n

She continued, \u201cBecause most of the time, it\u2019s projected on you, and maybe it\u2019ll be advantageous for a competitor, or maybe it\u2019s clickbait for media companies. But I really feel that if you\u2019re true to yourself and making products in integrity, it does pass very quickly.\u201d<\/p>\n

Paltrow\u2019s company Goop is still going strong after all these years and she shared, \u201cWe\u2019re opening new retail stores this year, and we are opening a lot more goop Kitchens this year. G. Label is growing beautifully. And it\u2019s kind of a fun moment.\u201d<\/p>\n
