{"id":1123951,"date":"2026-08-01T10:47:19","date_gmt":"2026-08-01T10:47:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/1123951\/"},"modified":"2026-08-01T10:47:19","modified_gmt":"2026-08-01T10:47:19","slug":"portable-explains-walking-out-of-okocha-rematch-ring","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/1123951\/","title":{"rendered":"Portable explains walking out of Okocha rematch ring"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Street-pop singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has explained why he walked out of the ring during his celebrity boxing rematch against Nollywood actor Charles Okocha.\n<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cZazoo Zeh\u201d singer insisted he was attacked unfairly during the bout and alleged that Okocha resorted to wrestling instead of boxing.\n<\/p>\n<p>He spoke in a video posted on his Instagram page on Saturday, hours after he was disqualified in the much-publicised contest held at the Balmoral Convention Centre, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.\n<\/p>\n<p>In the video, Portable displayed a wound on his back and body, claiming he was bitten during the fight and alleging that multiple people attacked him.<\/p>\n<p>While showing the marks on his body, Portable said, \u201cThey said he eats Molly. He didn\u2019t see Molly anymore. So he ate my back.\u201d\n<\/p>\n<p>He also claimed Okocha bit him during the contest.\n<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMan, he bit me. I landed a heavy hit on him,\u201d Portable said.<\/p>\n<p>The singer maintained that he had dominated the fight before the incident, repeatedly insisting he landed more punches on his opponent.\n<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNormally, I beat him up. Man to man, one man is tougher than another. I dealt him a huge blow,\u201d he said.\n<\/p>\n<p>Explaining his decision to leave the ring, Portable suggested he no longer wished to participate in such fights, saying his career was worth more than the prize money.\n<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe bit me, number one. He choked my neck. Camera it. That\u2019s why I say I don\u2019t fight again. I\u2019m big! I\u2019m bigger than the money! Credit: Portable | Instagram<\/p>\n<p>He added that he had promised to deliver 10 blows and fulfilled that promise.\n<\/p>\n<p>Turning to his followers, he said, \u201cI wore one-round cloth to the bout.
