\ntransport network. That network enhanced the\u00a0nation\u2019s defence capabilities and\u00a0economic advancement, facilitated the\u00a0expansion and\u00a0development of\u00a0our vast
\nterritories, boosted business activity and\u00a0social progress, and\u00a0dramatically
\nimproved mobility for\u00a0millions of\u00a0people.<\/p>\n
I\u00a0would
\nlike to\u00a0particularly highlight that the\u00a0technical, engineering, and\u00a0innovative
\nsolutions employed in\u00a0constructing these new railway lines reflected virtually
\nall of\u00a0the\u00a0most advanced ideas of\u00a0their time. Since then, Russia\u2019s
\nrailways have stood as\u00a0a\u00a0symbol of\u00a0reliability and\u00a0progress for\u00a0our nation.<\/p>\n
The\u00a0heroism and\u00a0courage demonstrated by\u00a0railway workers during the\u00a0country\u2019s most
\ndifficult periods, when the\u00a0entire nation united in\u00a0defence of\u00a0the\u00a0Fatherland, will
\nforever remain in\u00a0the\u00a0memory of\u00a0our people. Today, Russian Railways employees
\ncontinue to\u00a0make an\u00a0invaluable contribution by\u00a0supporting the\u00a0supply of\u00a0troops
\nparticipating in\u00a0the\u00a0special military operation. Often at\u00a0considerable personal
\nrisk, they deliver essential supplies to\u00a0residents of\u00a0border regions and\u00a0help
\nrestore transport connections in\u00a0the\u00a0liberated territories of\u00a0Novorossiya and\u00a0Donbass.<\/p>\n
In\u00a0recent years, thanks to\u00a0the\u00a0consistent, responsible efforts of\u00a0a\u00a0united and\u00a0highly qualified team of\u00a0professionals, Russia\u2019s railway infrastructure has
\ncontinued to\u00a0develop steadily. Construction of\u00a0the\u00a0country\u2019s first domestic
\nhigh-speed railway line is advancing at\u00a0full speed.<\/p>\n
