Two bikers were taken to hospital following a major crash on the A57 Snake Pass.<\/p>\n

Emergency services were called to reports of the smash between two motorbikes near Glossop just after 4pm on Saturday (August 1).<\/p>\n

Both riders were rushed to hospital. One of the riders was a man in his 20s who is believed to have suffered serious injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening.<\/p>\n

The other rider was a man in his 70s who is not believed to be seriously injured. A section of the road was closed off by police with ambulance services also at the scene.<\/p>\n

According to eyewitnesses, an air ambulance also attended the incident.<\/p>\n

A spokesperson for Derbyshire Police said: “We were called to a report of a collision between two motorbikes on the A57 Snakes Pass close to Glossop just after 4pm today.<\/p>\n

“Both riders were taken to hospital for treatment.
