A truly \u2018hidden\u2019 gem, it\u2019s tucked down a side alley in Shoreditch, signposted only by three spray-painted symbols: a martini glass, an umbrella (obvs), and an arrow.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Leonie Cooper, Time Out\u2019s London food and drink editor, described Umbrella Workshop as \u2018at once dramatic and extremely cosy\u2019, a combo which makes it \u2018perfect for an illicit liaison, were you that kind of person\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>Plus, it\u2019s the test kitchen for nearby bars Discount Suit Company, The Sun Tavern and Parasol \u2013 so if you\u2019re ever wondering who\u2019s inventing the stellar mixed drinks on\u00a0those places\u2019 menus, now you know.<\/p>\n<p>As well as the classics,\u00a0Umbrella Workshop\u2019s\u00a0bartenders shake up some truly weird and wonderful creations.
