Meghan Markle reportedly \u201cberated\u201d one of her caterers so badly over her vegan wedding menu that Queen Elizabeth II was forced to step in.<\/p>\n
\u201cOn one occasion in the run-up to\u00a0the wedding, Meghan went to Windsor Castle for a menu-tasting and ended up having a tense exchange with a member of staff,\u201d royal biographer Katie Nicholl alleged in her book \u201cThe New Royals,\u201d\u00a0per the Daily Mail<\/a> on Sunday. <\/p>\n \u201cMeghan was at the castle to taste some of the dishes,\u201d a source told Nicholl, claiming the alleged blow-up came to a head when she \u201ctold one of the caterers she could taste egg.\u201d<\/p>\n Meghan Markle and Prince Harry married in May 2018.
