The Balmoral hotel has launched three event spaces drawing inspiration from three of Scotland\u2019s biggest literary figures.<\/p>\n

The hotel introduced the reimagined suites, named The Rebus Room, The Rabbie Burns Room, and The Muriel Spark Room, on July 30.<\/p>\n

The spaces aim to offer experience-led hospitality, featuring custom menus and signature cocktails<\/a> tailored to each writer\u2019s world.<\/p>\n

The hotel also provides optional entertainment, including live storytelling<\/a>, traditional Scottish music, and literary discussions.<\/p>\n

\"AnThe Muriel Spark Room.<\/p>\n

In The Muriel Spark Room, guests are served seared tuna with pomegranate and traditional Azorean Molho de Vil\u00e3o<\/a>, paired with a cocktail named The Prime Pour.<\/p>\n

The Rabbie Burns Room features a reimagined cranachan alongside A Red, Red Rose, a drink paying tribute to the poet.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, The Rebus Room offers charred beef carpaccio with whipped blue cheese, matched with a smoky whisky creation called The Last Clue.<\/p>\n

The cocktails were developed by Bar Prince head bartender Mattia Rovaris.<\/p>\n

The suites\u2019 interiors incorporate timber flooring, Scottish textiles, and antiques, designed to reflect a private Scottish home.<\/p>\n

Andrew McPherson, general manager of The Balmoral, said: \u201cThese new event suites celebrate the creativity, craftsmanship and storytelling that define Scotland.<\/p>\n

\u201cBy combining beautifully designed interiors with immersive dining experiences inspired by some of our greatest literary voices, we\u2019ve created a distinctive setting for events that could only exist at The Balmoral.\u201d<\/p>\n

Author Sir Ian Rankin said: \u201cEdinburgh has always been the soul of these stories, and The Balmoral has captured that atmosphere.<\/p>\n

\u201cSeeing Rebus leave a lasting legacy in one of the city\u2019s landmarks feels fitting and rather special.\u201d<\/p>\n

Eric Dickson, chairman of the Muriel Spark Society, added: \u201cMuriel Spark\u2019s writing continues to captivate readers through its originality, wit and sense of place.\u201d<\/p>\n
