Harry Kane and Georgia Stanway celebrated their respective Bayern triumphs in the only way they know how: an off-key rendition of ‘Sweet Caroline’.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bayern supporters flooded the Marienplatz as the club’s men’s and women’s teams toasted their league titles from the 2024\/25 campaign.<\/p>\n

It was an extra-special occasion for the women’s team as they celebrated their first-ever double, having won the Frauen-Bundesliga and the DFB-Pokal.<\/p>\n

As for Kane<\/a>, he finally got to hold a trophy aloft for the first time<\/a> in his glittering career as Vincent Kompany’s side wrestled back control of the Bundesliga crown from Bayer Leverkusen.<\/p>\n

So, what better way for two members of Bayern’s English contingent to soak in the moment than belt out Neil Diamond’s classic?<\/p>\n

Kane and Stanway sung along from the Town Hall balcony as their teammates and supporters below joined in.<\/p>\n

Thankfully for Bayern, it doesn’t appear as if they will lose Kane or Stanway to The X Factor any time soon.<\/p>\n

It’s just as well given the starring role Kane played in helping Kompany’s side reclaim the Bundesliga title.<\/p>\n

Kane won the Bundesliga’s Golden Boot for a second season running<\/a> thanks to his haul of 26 goals.<\/p>\n

The England skipper’s tally was five more than Bayer Leverkusen’s Patrik Schick and Borussia Dortmund’s Serhou Guirassy.<\/p>\n

However, Kane’s 26 goals was ten fewer than the amount he scored in the 2023\/24 campaign.<\/p>\n

Kane’s back-to-back Golden Boot awards made him the first player to finish each of their first two seasons in the Bundesliga as top scorer.<\/p>\n

The 31-year-old also now has five league Golden Boot awards to his name having won the gong three times in the Premier League with Tottenham Hotspur.<\/p>\n

But no award will have felt sweeter for Kane than Bayern winning the Bundesliga.<\/p>\n

Kompany’s side finished 13 points clear of previous champs Leverkusen having lost just twice this term.<\/p>\n

As for Stanway, she was a vital presence for Bayern until her season was cruelly curtailed due to injury.<\/p>\n

Stanway underwent an operation on her right knee in January after she sustained a lateral collateral ligament knee injury during a training session.<\/p>\n

Bayern confirmed Stanway would ‘be out for several months’, with the 26-year-old hoping to recover in time for Euro 2025 as the Lionesses look to retain their crown.<\/p>\n

Prior to her injury, Stanway had registered an impressive eight goals and five assists from 25 appearances across all competitions for Bayern.<\/p>\n

The German giants finished the Frauen-Bundesliga in first place with just one defeat from 22 games.<\/p>\n
