Robert Miller for NY Post<\/p>\n<p>U.S. News reviewed nearly 4,500 hospitals across 14 adult specialties and 23 procedures and conditions. Just 16% earned a Best Hospitals designation by excelling in measures such as risk-adjusted mortality, preventable complications and patient experience.<\/p>\n<p>NYU Langone Health maintained the nation\u2019s highest number of No. 1\u2013ranked specialties and top-10 specialties, with 12 of its 13 ranked clinical specialties placing in the top 10. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cNYU Langone achieved these top rankings through our talented and dedicated care teams, with each relentlessly focusing on the details that impact patient outcomes and experience,\u201d said <a href=\"https:\/\/nyulangone.org\/our-story\/our-leadership\/officers\/alec-c-kimmelman-md-phd\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Dr. Alec C. The recognition extends to NYU Langone\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/nyulangone.org\/locations\/tisch-hospital\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Tisch Hospital<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/nyulangone.org\/locations\/kimmel-pavilion\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Kimmel Pavilion<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/nyulangone.org\/locations\/nyu-langone-orthopedic-hospital\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">NYU Langone Orthopedic Hospital<\/a> in Manhattan, as well as <a href=\"https:\/\/nyulangone.org\/locations\/nyu-langone-hospital-long-island\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">NYU Langone Hospital\u2014Long Island<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/nyulangone.org\/locations\/nyu-langone-hospital-brooklyn\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">NYU Langone Hospital\u2014Brooklyn<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/03\/03\/us-news\/nyu-langone-merges-with-long-island-hospital-introduces-robotics\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">NYU Langone Hospital\u2014Suffolk<\/a>, which joined the health system last year, was ranked separately and  received \u201chigh performing\u201d ratings for three conditions: pneumonia, heart failure and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, New York-Presbyterian Hospital-Columbia and Cornell ranked among the nation\u2019s top five in eight specialties and, with ophthalmology joining the list for the first time this year, became the only New York hospital to place in the top 20 across all 14 specialties.<\/p>\n<p>The health center also continues to be recognized as a Best Regional Hospital for Community Access for its commitment to delivering high-quality care to underserved communities.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nyp.org\/news\/dr-brian-donley-named-executive-vice-president-and-chief-operating-officer-at-nyp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Dr. Brian G.
