Leeds United<\/a> finally managed to get Jack Harrison<\/a> off their books this summer.<\/strong><\/p>\n

After three separate loan spells away, the Whites were finally able to find a permanent buyer for Harrison. Despite being just 29, Harrison returned to the MLS, this time signing for New England Revolution<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The winger posted an emotional farewell message to Leeds supporters recently<\/a>. But it\u2019s fair to say that the bridge is broken beyond repair between Harrison and the Elland Road faithful.<\/p>\n

Since leaving, Harrison has harmed his chances of rebuilding those bridges even further. He recently aimed a sly dig towards his former employers.<\/p>\n

After completing his move stateside, Harrison was recently unveiled by his new club during their 4-1 win over Atalanta on 25 July. <\/p>\n

After taking a lap of the pitch and getting introduced to New England Revolution\u2019s supporters, Harrison said, \u201cThe fans were incredible. I\u2019ve never been recognised on the field like that before. I said to my agent the other day that this has been the best signing that I\u2019ve done in my career so far,\u201d in an interview for the club\u2019s official website<\/a>. <\/p>\n

The saying is that one man\u2019s trash is another man\u2019s treasure. This may turn out to be the case for Harrison. He should be a valuable player for the Revolution considering the standard of the league he is now playing in.<\/p>\n

Perhaps Harrison\u2019s judgement of the Leeds fanbase remains clouded after the outpouring of criticism he received from them in recent years. Rightly so too, I might add.<\/p>\n

Ultimately, Harrison\u2019s clear dig at the Leeds fans will mean very little, as they are just happy they don\u2019t have to sit through another afternoon watching him attempt to cross a ball.<\/p>\n

Another winger could end up at Leeds this summer<\/p>\n

With Harrison already gone, everything is beginning to point towards Largie Ramazani<\/a> and Willy Gnonto following him out the door<\/a>.<\/p>\n

If this is the case, then the 49ers will surely want to bring in another winger.<\/p>\n

Igor Paixao<\/a> has again been linked with the Whites this summer. However, a move for the Brazilian seems complicated considering Aston Villa are also reportedly interested in Paixao<\/a>. <\/p>\n

But the fact we have even shown an interest in Paixao proves that a new winger is seemingly on the 49ers\u2019 agenda before the end of the transfer window.<\/p>\n

If Gnonto left, Dan James and Brenden Aaronson would be our backup wingers, and this simply won\u2019t cut it. So bringing in another wide player is a necessary piece of business we must conduct.<\/p>\n
