Former SDLP leader Colum Eastwood<\/a> has told an event at F\u00e9ile an Phobail that the momentum towards Irish unity is \u2018unstoppable\u2019 – but there remains work to do to achieve it<\/a>.<\/p>\n Mr Eastwood was taking part in the \u2018Le ch\u00e9ile – next steps to Irish unity\u2019 discussion at St Mary\u2019s University College as part of the west Belfast community arts festival.<\/p>\n A man in his 20s was arrested for child cruelty and a number of other offences after drugs were found in a child\u2019s bedroom in Antrim on Friday<\/a>.<\/p>\n The search was carried out by detectives from the Paramilitary Crime Task Force, which is made up by officers from the PSNI<\/a>, National Crime Agency and HMRC.<\/p>\n Visitors to Belfast for the city\u2019s first ever Fleadh Cheoil na h\u00c9ireann<\/a> were expected to break the one million mark on Friday as the event heads towards its crescendo this weekend<\/a>.<\/p>\n While around 800,000 visitors had been expected to come to the city for Ireland\u2019s biggest traditional music festival, the local business improvement district says that figure has been smashed already.<\/p>\n A law student charged in relation to a bomb intercepted in a car near the Irish border has appeared in court<\/a>.<\/p>\n Isobella Perrie Sullivan, 25, of Abbeylands Park, Clane, Co Kildare, had previously been granted bail after being charged with possession of explosives.<\/p>\n Fleadh<\/p>\n A pop-up bar that has proved a hit with revellers during the Fleadh Cheoil na h\u00c9ireann<\/a> could become a permanent fixture, according to the men behind it.<\/a><\/p>\n The Donegal Bar has been packed throughout the festival, helping to create a lively atmosphere with live music and Irish dancers<\/a> drawing large crowds.<\/p>\n A Belfast-based artist is spending roughly 100 hours creating a new mural that captures the music, landmarks and familiar faces of this year\u2019s Fleadh<\/a>.<\/p>\n Danni Simpson is painting the detailed piece live beneath the rainbow umbrellas in Commercial Court, opposite the Duke of York, throughout the eight-day festival.<\/p>\n Sport<\/p>\n Ladies\u2019 last, men first.<\/p>\n Not sexism, just the conclusion of the Camogie championships this weekend while the Irish League soccer season gets underway.<\/a><\/p>\n Kenny Archer explains more.<\/p>\n\n
