Netflix<\/a> drama My Life with the Walter Boys has shot up the streamer’s charts with its third season. The new episodes were released only yesterday, and have already proved hugely popular with fans.<\/p>\n

The show now sits at number one in the UK Top 10 Series, ahead of the likes of The Bombing of Pan Am 103 and Harlan Coben’s I Will Find You.<\/p>\n

My Life with the Walter Boys focuses on Manhattan-based orphaned teenager Jackie Howard as she moves in with the large Walter family in Colorado.<\/p>\n

Following on from the events of the second season, Netflix teased the new set of episodes as “jam-packed with drama from the start”<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Creator Melanie Halsall further told Tudum<\/a>: “A lot of this season, more than other seasons, is about growing up, maturing, and stepping up.”<\/p>\n

“Jackie says what\u2019s on her mind a little bit more this season, and she really takes some risks and kind of goes out of her comfort zone,” added Jackie actor Nikki Rodriguez. “Jackie is growing and changing and figuring out who she wants to be. And I just think it\u2019s really important.”<\/p>\n

In their review of the third season, ScreenRant<\/a> called it “a fun new chapter in this cozy romance series that keeps presenting exciting ways for Netflix to bring it back”.<\/p>\n

TV Fanatic<\/a> further wrote: “After a long hiatus, My Life With the Walter Boys Season 3 finally returned, and the new season was surprisingly refreshing.”<\/p>\n

If you’ve already binged through the new episodes, then you’ll be pleased to hear that a fourth season is on the way, with filming kicking off back in May.<\/p>\n

Halsall said<\/a> when production kicked off: “I know I speak for the writers, the cast, and the crew when I say that it is beyond exciting to be returning to the world of Silver Falls for a fourth season. We are all incredibly grateful and are thrilled to dive in.”<\/p>\n
