King Charles made a heart touching request to his eldest son, Prince William urging him to prioritise family over royal duties.<\/p>\n

The monarchy has undergone significant changes over the years from Megxit, the death of both King Charles’s parents, Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip, to King Charles and Kate Middleton now battling cancer. <\/p>\n

In the wake of Kate’s diagnosis, Prince William has notably put his wife and children ahead of royal responsibilities.<\/p>\n

William shares three children-Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis with the future Queen, Kate Middleton.<\/p>\n

According to a new Channel 5 documentary, William and Catherine: Putting Family First, William’s decision to focus on family was fully supported by his father.<\/p>\n

Ingrid Seward, editor of Majesty Magazine, shared insight in the documentary, stating: ‘Charles said to William, ‘Please don’t make the mistake that I made and I want you to enjoy your family life.’ <\/p>\n

She added. ‘Charles was very insistent about this because he said, ‘ iwas so dedicated to duty, I could not make way for family life in the way that I should have done and that’s what William did.’<\/p>\n
