Rumours recently emerged that Nintendo would be producing a limited edition Zelda-themed Switch 2 and Pro Controller, and well, it seems that this is indeed true.<\/p>\n

Images of the product boxes have been posted online<\/a> (thanks, Nintendo Everything<\/a>), and they look extremely legit. Both contain the 40th anniversary logos for the series along with all the usual small print you’d expect to find.<\/p>\n

The console itself looks to sport black and dark green Joy-Con 2 controllers with the iconic Triforce featured heavily on both. Meanwhile, the dock is black and gold and once again showcases the Triforce in all its glory.<\/p>\n

The Pro Controller carries on the same theme, with black, green and gold colours along with what looks to be the Royal Crest in the centre.<\/p>\n

Honestly, both look pretty slick. Take a look:<\/p>\n

With this now out in the wild, it should only be a matter of time until Nintendo lifts the lid on its plans to celebrate Zelda’s 40th anniversary. We already know a remake for Ocarina of Time<\/a> is on its way later this year, but beyond an initial announcement trailer, we don’t have much more to go on.<\/p>\n
