This anniversary is more than a milestone\u2014it\u2019s a thank-you to the residents who have supported the library from its launch to today.<\/p>\n<p>The Friends of Manassas City Library will host a special Mini-Book Sale from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Guests can browse gently loved books at great prices while supporting future library programming. Throughout the day, visitors can enjoy activities for all ages, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>An author talk at 11 a.m. features In Search of Giants: The Quest to Find the Genetic Giants of Northern Ireland by Colleen Snyder.<\/li>\n<li>Master Gardeners on site from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for \u201cAsk-an-Expert\u201d Q&amp;A.<\/li>\n<li>A performance by the Greater Manassas Children\u2019s Choir from 12 to 12:30 p.m.<\/li>\n<li>A LEGO building contest with prizes from 12:30 to 3 p.m.<\/li>\n<li>A special story time with Andy Aardvark from Texas Roadhouse at 1:30 p.m.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Plus, families can enjoy sweet treats, take selfies with Manny the Penguin, and explore hands-on crafts. It\u2019s a day to celebrate learning, friendship, and the joy of a neighborhood library that has quickly become a cornerstone of the community.<\/p>\n<p>The event is free and open to all ages.
