Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made a sweet impression at David Foster 40th anniversary celebration<\/a> for his Foundation in Victoria, Canada over the weekend \u2014 with pregnant singer Pia Toscano telling Page Six about a touching moment between the Duchess of Sussex and her unborn baby.<\/p>\n

Toscano, who has worked with Foster since 2017, performed \u201cFeeling Good\u201d at the star-studded event.<\/p>\n

After, when she approached Harry and Markle at the head table<\/a>, Toscano tells us the As Ever creator touched her stomach, and the couple hugged her and offered congratulations.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is the most beautiful time of your life,\u201d Meghan told her. Toscano also recalled gentleman Harry moving a chair for her.<\/p>\n

Markle, 44, and Harry, 41, have two children. The couple welcomed son Archie in May 2019 and daughter Lilibet in June 2021.<\/p>\n

Markle has been candid about the realities of pregnancy and motherhood<\/a>.<\/p>\n

During her first pregnancy, she complained that the sleeplessness felt like \u201cjet lag,\u201d recalling being awake doing yoga at 4:30 a.m.<\/p>\n

Markle and Prince Harry have two children, son Archie in May 2019 and daughter Lilibet in June 2021. meghan\/Instagram<\/p>\n

Markle has been candid about her own pregnancies in the past. meghan\/Instagram<\/p>\n

She later spoke about the particular vulnerability of being pregnant while under intense public scrutiny. She also publicly revealed that she suffered a miscarriage in 2020<\/a>, writing movingly about the experience and the grief she and Harry endured.\u00a0<\/p>\n

More recently, however, Markle has spoken warmly about motherhood. <\/p>\n

In 2025, she described it as \u201cbetter than I ever expected\u201d and said being separated from Archie and Lilibet for nearly three weeks during Queen Elizabeth II\u2019s funeral left her \u201cnot well.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Singer Sydnie Christmas, the 2024 \u201cBritain\u2019s Got Talent\u201d winner, was also charmed by the royals at the event.<\/p>\n

She called Harry a \u201cvery kind soul,\u201d with a \u201ckind face, kind eyes,\u201d and said Markle \u201clooked like she knew everybody\u201d and \u201clike she was having the best time.\u201d<\/p>\n

Toscano, an \u201cAmerican Idol\u201d alum, has a new single, \u201cRedirected,\u201d and is expecting her first child in December. Christmas has a new single, \u201cSpirit,\u201d coming in September.<\/p>\n

The three-day celebration raised a staggering $14.5 million for the David Foster Foundation, which provides financial support to Canadian families with children in need of life-saving organ transplants.<\/p>\n
