David Beckham<\/a> will make a surprise appearance at the opening day of the RHS Chelsea Flower Show this evening, as he joins the King to tease an upcoming project with the King’s Foundation, which will aim to encourage young people to consider careers in horticulture.<\/p>\n

Beckham, who is an ambassador of the King’s Foundation, will meet the King and Queen at the Highgrove Shop stand, where all proceeds go towards the work of the Foundation. The former England Captain will also meet with fellow ambassador Alan Titchmarsh at the London Square Chelsea Pensioners Garden, where the work of King\u2019s Foundation furniture making alumni Lily Hitchcock and Hannah Evans was featured as the table centrepiece.<\/p>\n

The royal meeting comes just days after it emerged Prince Harry<\/a> and Meghan Markle<\/a> hosted Brooklyn Beckham and his wife Nicola Peltz for dinner at their Montecito mansio<\/a>n amid their family row.<\/p>\n

The Duchess of Sussex and Nicola found \u201ccommon ground\u201d after both were accused of wrecking their husbands\u2019 families, the Sun<\/a> reported. Brooklyn failed to attend his father’s high-profile 50th birthday celebrations earlier in the month.<\/p>\n

David Beckham\u2019s attendance at the flower show teases an upcoming King\u2019s Foundation campaign, in partnership with the RHS and championed by Beckham and Titchmarsh, to encourage young people to consider careers in horticulture, to protect our green spaces and natural environment for future generations.<\/p>\n
