{"id":114925,"date":"2025-05-19T17:49:12","date_gmt":"2025-05-19T17:49:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/114925\/"},"modified":"2025-05-19T17:49:12","modified_gmt":"2025-05-19T17:49:12","slug":"france-and-switzerland-win-the-2025-marcel-bezencon-awards","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/114925\/","title":{"rendered":"France and Switzerland win the 2025 Marcel Bezen\u00e7on Awards"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<p><strong>France and Switzerland were awarded the 2025 Marcel Bezen\u00e7on Awards this year in Basel.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As per custom, the Marcel Bezenc\u0327on Awards, are held annually before the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest.<\/p>\n<p>The Marcel Bezenc\u0327on Awards are dertermined by the accredited press (<strong>Press Award<\/strong>), participating composers (<strong>Compser Award<\/strong>) and commentators (<strong>Artistic Award<\/strong>) on the eve of the Eurovision Song Contest Grand Final.<\/p>\n<p>A special ceremony was held at the St. Jakobshalle on Saturday where <strong>Christer Bjorkman<\/strong> announced the winners and presented the awards to the winners.<\/p>\n<p>This year the awards went:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The Press Award<\/strong> \u2013 Louane (Maman)- France<\/li>\n<li><strong>The Artistic Award<\/strong>\u2013 Loune (Maman)- France<\/li>\n<li><strong>The Composer Award<\/strong>\u2013 Zoe Me, Emily Middlemas, Tom Oehler \u00a0(Voyage)- Switzerland<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>France 2025 (Louane)<\/p>\n<p>Louane represented France at the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest with her entry \u2018Maman\u2019. She achieved an honourable 7th place in the Grand Final.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Switzerland (Zoe Me)<\/p>\n<p>Zoe Me represented Switzerland at the Eurovision Song Contest in Basel with her entry \u2018Voyage\u2019, achieving a 10th place in the Grand Final.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"&#13; France and Switzerland were awarded the 2025 Marcel Bezen\u00e7on Awards this year in Basel.
