{"id":1150333,"date":"2026-08-15T16:32:39","date_gmt":"2026-08-15T16:32:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/1150333\/"},"modified":"2026-08-15T16:32:39","modified_gmt":"2026-08-15T16:32:39","slug":"wrexham-owners-ryan-reynolds-and-rob-mac-speak-on-tom-brady-and-facing-birmingham-city","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/1150333\/","title":{"rendered":"Wrexham owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac speak on Tom Brady and facing Birmingham City"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>   <a class=\"fw\" href=\"https:\/\/profile.google.com\/cp\/Cg0vZy8xMWcxajNfc2h3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\"> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"28\" height=\"28\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hitc.com\/wp-content\/themes\/grv-media\/img\/google-discover.svg\" alt=\"\"\/> Follow us on Google Discover <\/a>  <\/p>\n<p><strong>Wrexham and Birmingham City are once again set to go head-to-head this season in what some have billed \u2018The Hollywood Derby\u2019 thanks to the clubs\u2019 owners.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Red Dragons were bought by Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac all the way back in 2021, and they have since taken the Welsh team to the second tier of English football.<\/p>\n<p>NFL icon Tom Brady is also an investor in an English soccer team, Birmingham City, and in turn, has developed a friendly rivalry with Rob and Ryan.<\/p>\n<p>Now, ahead of Wrexham and Birmingham getting their Championship campaigns underway, Reynolds and Mac have been asked about Brady.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\"  src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/GettyImages-2171683435-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"Rob McElhenney, co owner of Wrexham talks with Tom Brady co owner of Birmingham City ahead of the Sky Bet League One match between Birmingham City FC and Wrexham\" \/>Photo by Catherine Ivill \u2013 AMA\/Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>When being interviewed by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Um7QKSMo76k\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Men In Blazers<\/a>, the Wrexham owners were asked: \u201cWhich team are you most looking forward to facing? And is it, I guess I\u2019m asking, is it Tom Brady\u2019s mesmerisingly white teeth that haunt you with the last thing before you go to sleep that you see in your eyes?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Reynolds responded by poking fun at Brady\u2019s teeth before calling him handsome.<\/p>\n<p>He said: \u201cI mean, it\u2019s always a full moon when he smiles at night. He\u2019s giving you old high beams right there. Uh, that is, I\u2019m telling you right now, though, he\u2019s a very handsome man.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cVery handsome. Unreal. Tom Wagner, too.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Mac then replied: \u201cWho am I looking forward to playing? I can\u2019t, I can\u2019t say there\u2019s any one team.
