Nonetheless, the company has pressed ahead with a fresh build before the end of the week.&#13;<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">To recap, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.notebookcheck.net\/Garmin-rolls-out-new-update-for-high-end-smartwatches-with-multiple-changes-and-improvements.1367763.0.html\" target=\"_self\" class=\"internal-link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Garmin released Beta Version 23.24 on August 13<\/a>, the eighth so far in this beta cycle. As we discussed at the time, the update contained over half a dozen changes. However, some of these were specific to Pro-branded smartwatches and the Tactix 8. Now, Garmin has transitioned its public beta testers to <a href=\"https:\/\/forums.garmin.com\/beta-program\/fenix-8-series\/f\/announcements\/441947\/fenix-8-quatix-8-enduro-3-fenix-8-pro-microled-version-23-25---available-ota\" class=\"external-link-new-window\" data-htmlarea-external=\"1\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Beta Version 23.25<\/a>, which it has issued as an over-the-air (OTA) download.&#13;<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">Hence, the update should arrive automatically if you have enrolled your Fenix 8, Fenix 8 Pro or associated smartwatch in Garmin&#8217;s Beta Program. Unfortunately, Garmin has not been forthcoming about the changes it has made between Beta Version 23.24 and Beta Version 23.25.&#13;<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">Instead, it has reproduced the changelog from Beta Version 23.24. The discrepancy has not gone unnoticed by beta testers on <a href=\"https:\/\/forums.garmin.com\/beta-program\/fenix-8-series\/f\/community-discussion\/441948\/23-25-beta---changelog\" class=\"external-link-new-window\" data-htmlarea-external=\"1\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Garmin\u2019s forums<\/a>, either. Worse still, multiple Fenix 8 owners complain that existing bugs remain. Reportedly, <a href=\"https:\/\/forums.garmin.com\/beta-program\/fenix-8-series\/f\/community-discussion\/441970\/23-25-still-rebooting\" class=\"external-link-new-window\" data-htmlarea-external=\"1\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">frequent rebooting issues<\/a> are still present in Beta Version 23.25, as are <a href=\"https:\/\/forums.garmin.com\/beta-program\/fenix-8-series\/f\/community-discussion\/441972\/beta-25-23-same-old-problems\" class=\"external-link-new-window\" data-htmlarea-external=\"1\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">bugs that prevent displays from waking up correctly<\/a>.
