Residents at a Glasgow care home went ‘back to school’ this week as children across the city<\/a> did likewise.<\/p>\n

The ladies from Causeway Church have been bringing friendship, laughter and companionship to Haydale Care, in Tollcross<\/a>, and helped put on a nostalgic trip for the residents.<\/p>\n

Minister Monika and the Causeway Church dressed up as schoolgirls, and brought a fantastic selection of school-themed props and music.<\/p>\n

Residents were encouraged to share their own memories of school days, sparking lots of smiles, laughter and stories from the years gone by.<\/p>\n

From favourite subjects, to childhood mischief, and even remembering the dreaded belt, there were plenty of stories to tell and memories to share.<\/p>\n

Rosa Mowatt summed up the nostalgia perfectly, saying: \u201cSchool days were a mixture of fun, friendship and a few times when you knew you were in trouble!<\/p>\n
