Jake Paul has teamed up with influencer Sophie Rain to promote Amanda Serrano’s unprecedented fight with Lucrecia Manzur<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Serrano<\/a> will defend her WBA and WBO featherweight world titles<\/a> against Argentina’s Manzur on 21 August, in what will be the\u00a0first championship boxing event to be broadcast on TikTok Live.<\/p>\n

The bout is being staged at Pechanga Resort Casino in Temecula, California, and is set to be historic for several reasons.<\/p>\n

Serrano’s meeting with Manzur will also be the first unified women’s world title fight contested over 12 two-minute rounds.<\/p>\n

Sporting great Serrano holds the WBO, WBA and Ring Magazine titles, and is Puerto Rico’s first undisputed world champion and the most decorated fighter in women’s boxing history.<\/p>\n

Breaking new ground<\/p>\n

With the California showdown set to be streamed live on TikTok, YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul<\/a> has built excitement by promising a stellar line-up of influencer guests.<\/p>\n

The fight is being promoted by Most Valuable Promotions (MVP)<\/a>, the sports promotion company co-founded by Paul.<\/p>\n

MVP has notably boasted broadcast deals with Netflix for its bigger boxing fights, while also having some bouts on ESPN.<\/p>\n

Star-studded affair<\/p>\n

Ahead of an unprecedented first on TikTok, Paul has teamed up with internet stars Sophie Rain, Aishah Sofey and Natalie Reynolds, with the trio all pledging to attend the huge bout.<\/p>\n

In a promotional clip shared on MVP’s social media pages, Paul can be seen calling up the social media superstars<\/a>.<\/p>\n

He begins: “What\u2019s up girls? I need a favour, we have a big show on TikTok – August 21st, the first ever championship boxing on TikTok.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd I need ya\u2019ll, the faces of TikTok, to show up and show support.\u201d<\/p>\n

The video then turns to OnlyFans model Rain and online personality Sofey – who boasts 8 million followers on TikTok.<\/p>\n

The pair reply: \u201cOkay!\u201d<\/p>\n

American content creator Natalie Reynolds follows this up by asking Paul: \u201cWait these are like real badass fighters right?\u201d<\/p>\n

To this, he replies: \u201cLiterally the baddest on the planet.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rain, who shot to fame in 2024<\/a>, then replies: \u201cIt sounds a little intense.\u201d<\/p>\n

Urging the internet stars to attend the Serrano-Manzur showdown, Paul then says: \u201cYou guys got this, it\u2019s gonna be fun. Temecula, California – are you guys officially in?\u201d<\/p>\n

The trio all then commit to heading to California for the bout, as Reynolds chimes in: \u201cI\u2019m excited for this.\u201d<\/p>\n

‘Grow the audience’<\/p>\n

With a stellar line-up promised for Serrano and Manzur’s meeting, Paul will be hoping to capture a new audience via TikTok.<\/p>\n

After the world title fight was confirmed in July, it was quickly announced it would become boxing’s first bout to be streamed live on the social media platform.<\/p>\n

Paul and MVP co-founder Nakisa Bidarian said at the time: \u201cFrom day one, MVP has challenged the traditional boxing model by creating the biggest moments and opportunities for fighters while finding new ways to bring the sport to fans around the world.<\/p>\n

\u201cPartnering with TikTok to deliver the first-ever championship boxing event on TikTok Live is another example of that vision to grow the audience for boxing and make world championship fights more accessible than ever. <\/p>\n
