At launch, this device would have set you back a whopping \u00a3599, but things are now way more affordable.<\/p>\n

In fact, right now, you can take delivery of this premium gadget for just \u00a3449<\/a> – that’s \u00a3150 off the RRP. This new lower cost also now makes the Galaxy Watch Ultra \u00a3350 cheaper than its Apple Watch Ultra rival which currently costs \u00a3799.<\/p>\n

We have seen discounts before on this gadget but the last deal from Samsung only reduced things by \u00a3100 – so there’s any extra \u00a350 off this time around.<\/p>\n

So, what do you get for money, and should you invest?<\/p>\n

The Galaxy Watch Ultra comes packed with upgrades that you won’t find on the standard Galaxy Watch models.<\/p>\n

For example, you get a much more rugged titanium design that’s built to last in tough environments. Samsung actually boasts that this is its “toughest Galaxy Watch ever” and shouldn’t let you down no matter where you take it.<\/p>\n

That means you get better water resistance, it can cope with high altitudes and much bigger changes in temperature.<\/p>\n

Along with with its tough body, the design also features a Quick Button. This takes you straight to favourite apps and features via a simple tap. So, you can launch a quick workout or start a run without scrolling through endless menus.<\/p>\n

Other extras that come packed into the Ultra include an in-built alarm which belts out a sound should you get in trouble. There’s also a special night mode which turns the display black and red for easier reading plus it comes with highly accurate GPS for pinpoint location accuracy.<\/p>\n

A better battery life with up to 100 hours is also included.<\/p>\n
