A crew from i24NEWS’ Hebrew channel was attacked over the weekend in Belfast, Northern Ireland<\/a>, while filming for a documentary series on Europe’s rising antisemitism<\/a>.<\/p>\n

i24NEWS reporter Yonatan Raveh and cameraman Nadav Abbas were conducting street interviews near a well-known bar complex when a man, realizing they were from an Israeli network, began harassing them.<\/p>\n

According to footage of the incident shared by i24NEWS on its social media, the man shouted “f*** Israel,” attempted to grab Raveh and Abbas’ camera equipment, and made inappropriate gestures towards the camera.<\/p>\n

Raveh and Abbas attempted to withdraw from the situation before its escalation, calling for police<\/a> or security from any of the nearby establishments to intervene while the man followed them threateningly.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In response, the man threw a large glass beer<\/a> mug at Abbas, hitting him in the head and cutting it.\u00a0<\/p>\n
