Soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodr\u00edguez decided to tie the knot<\/a> in their living room to create an \u201cintimate\u201d memory with their kids<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve chosen to do it in the living room of our house here, where we have breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and where we live the reality of our lives,\u201d the model told Vogue<\/a> in an interview published Sunday.<\/p>\n

Speaking to the outlet just days before their whirlwind wedding, she added, \u201cIn 30 years\u2019 time I want the children to think, \u2018Something wonderful happened at this table\u2014the wedding vows of our parents.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt probably won\u2019t be the same table,\u201d Ronaldo, 41, comically interjected. \u201cWe might change the decor.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ronaldo and Rodr\u00edguez, 32, said \u201cI do\u201d on Aug. 10, which marked the 10th anniversary of the day they met when the latter worked at a Gucci store in Madrid.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn the future we will have a big wedding, so we can celebrate with family and friends,\u201d Rodr\u00edguez shared elsewhere in the interview.<\/p>\n

Rodr\u00edguez explained how it\u2019s been a \u201ccrazy year\u201d filled with \u201cwork commitments, competitions, kids,\u201d and how she didn\u2019t want their anniversary to go uncelebrated.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I was a little girl,\u201d she said, \u201cI dreamt of the biggest castle, the biggest carriage, the longest dress, a crown full of diamonds. And now I\u2019m saying: no.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI want something intimate, with my partner and our children, at home,\u201d Rodr\u00edguez continued. \u201cBecause castles, houses, islands, horses, cars: We have all of that within reach every day. But something intimate\u2014that\u2019s more unusual for us.\u201d<\/p>\n

Following the ceremony, Rodr\u00edguez reached out to Vogue, writing in a message, \u201cIt was exactly as I\u2019d imagined it. Intimate, full of love, and with our family in the most important starring role. I couldn\u2019t hold back the tears.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rodr\u00edguez and the Al-Nassr forward got engaged<\/a> in August 2025. The couple announced the news with sweet photos of themselves and Rodr\u00edguez\u2019s massive 37-carat ring.<\/p>\n

\u201cYes, I do. In this and in all my lives,\u201d the post was captioned.<\/p>\n

Ronaldo is the father of a 16-year-old son, Cristiano Ronaldo Jr., with an unknown woman. He also welcomed 9-year-old twins, Eva and Mateo, via surrogacy in 2017.<\/p>\n

During an emotional interview on her docuseries,\u00a0\u201cI Am Georgina,\u201d<\/a> Rodr\u00edguez got candid about the \u201cbest and worst moment of [her] life in an instant.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMy priority right now is my family and my children,\u201d she said. \u201cI\u2019m so happy and so thankful.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rodr\u00edguez added, \u201cLife goes on.
