Drivers should watch out for traffic delays as roadworks continue across Greater Manchester. People can \u2018expect delays\u2019 on some key routes.<\/p>\n
Roadworks can be carried out for a number of reasons including changes being made to a road, emergency repairs, as well as work by utility companies.<\/p>\n
However a 2025 parliamentary transport committee report said: \u201cThey can also be a source of frustration for anyone trying to get around on roads and pavements by causing congestion and delays that harm the economy, disrupt transport services and limit access to high streets and businesses.\u201d<\/p>\n
