{"id":1155601,"date":"2026-08-18T12:51:33","date_gmt":"2026-08-18T12:51:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/1155601\/"},"modified":"2026-08-18T12:51:33","modified_gmt":"2026-08-18T12:51:33","slug":"bristol-airport-unveils-four-new-restaurants-for-departure-lounge","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/1155601\/","title":{"rendered":"Bristol Airport unveils four new restaurants for departure lounge"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>Bristol Airport<\/strong> has unveiled four new F&amp;B concepts for its expanded departure lounge, including the first airport location for <strong>Bristol<\/strong>-born restaurant brand <strong>Cosy Club<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>Bill\u2019s<\/strong>, <strong>Cosy Club<\/strong>, <strong>wagamama<\/strong> and <strong>Tap + Brew<\/strong> will open from<strong> summer 2027<\/strong> as part of the airport\u2019s \u00a3400m transformation programme.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bristol Airport Head of Retail Kate Gwyther<\/strong> said: \u201cWe\u2019re delighted to welcome these exciting and much-loved restaurants to <strong>Bristol Airport<\/strong>. We\u2019re on a mission to offer our customers some really great options to suit their tastebuds, dietary requirements, time and pocket.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>Avolta<\/strong> will operate <strong>Bill\u2019s<\/strong>, which is scheduled to be the first of the four restaurants to open in early summer. The restaurant\u2019s all-day dining will include breakfast, lunch and dinner, alongside <strong>Coeliac UK<\/strong>-approved gluten-free options. The opening will be <strong>Bill\u2019s<\/strong> second<strong> UK<\/strong> airport location.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>TRG Concessions<\/strong> will operate <strong>Cosy Club<\/strong> and <strong>wagamama<\/strong>. <strong>Cosy Club<\/strong>, part of <strong>Loungers Group<\/strong>, will make its airport debut at <strong>Bristol<\/strong>. The business has its roots in the city, where its founders opened the first <strong>Lounge<\/strong> restaurant on <strong>North Street<\/strong> in 2002.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Its airport menu will include breakfasts, small plates and other dishes, with <strong>West Country<\/strong> suppliers including <strong>Baker Tom<\/strong> in <strong>Cornwall<\/strong> and <strong>Philip Warren Butchers<\/strong> represented on the menu.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>Wagamama<\/strong> is also scheduled to open in <strong>summer 2027<\/strong>, offering its established menu of curries, ramen and bao buns alongside breakfast, children\u2019s and vegan options. The restaurant will feature the brand\u2019s communal benches and an open kitchen.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>Tap + Brew<\/strong> will follow in <strong>autumn 2027<\/strong> and will be operated by <strong>SSP UK &amp; Ireland<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The bar and kitchen will serve craft beer and cider from <strong>Bristol<\/strong> brewer <strong>Wiper and True<\/strong>, alongside other beers, seasonal drinks, low- and no-alcohol options and cocktails. Its food menu will include fish and chips, burgers, nachos and breakfast dishes.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The concept will feature copper tanks, locally inspired artwork and a mix of seating for individuals and groups.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Gwyther<\/strong> added: \u201cThis is just the beginning of a very exciting transformation for our customers, creating a new level of shopping and dining at the Airport. The departure lounge will feel much more inviting, spacious and brighter with more seats.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The restaurants form the first phase of a wider overhaul of <strong>Bristol Airport<\/strong>\u2019s departure lounge. Further concepts are due to be announced in <strong>2027<\/strong>, including coffee shops, fast-food outlets, grab-and-go concepts, premium bars and a speakeasy bar.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The redesign will almost double the number of shops and restaurants, with 17 additional units planned, including premium retail brands.
