An incident on a busy Sutton Coldfield road led one man being injured and the street being closed.<\/p>\n
The incident took place in Aldridge Road in Streetly on Monday (May 19).<\/p>\n
A man is said to have been \u2018struck by a vehicle\u2019.<\/p>\n
Police and the ambulance service were called to the road at around 10am.<\/p>\n
Read more: \u2018Scumbag\u2019 thief breaks into home in car key burglary as family slept upstairs<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n Aldridge Road was closed in both directions by police near Bridle Lane.<\/p>\n A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service<\/a> said: \u201cWe were called to reports of disorder at the junction of Lowlands Avenue and Aldridge Road at 10.04am.<\/p>\n \u201cOne ambulance attended the scene. On arrival we discovered one patient, a man, who was treated for minor injuries and discharged at the scene.\u201d<\/p>\n National Express West Midlands diverted two of its services as a result of the incident.<\/p>\n It posted and said: \u201cService Disruption.
