Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams<\/a>, a PS2 action classic, is out today on the PS Store<\/strong><\/a> for normal purchase (\u00a37.99\/$9.99) and on PS Plus Premium<\/strong><\/a> for subscribers.<\/p>\n

It means that the Onimusha series is almost entirely available on PS5 and PS4, but fans are raising an interesting quirk about this release: you should get the Japanese version for the best experience.<\/p>\n

Apparently, there are noticeable differences in the difficulty of the USA version when compared to the Japanese one, to the point where the former is harder than the latter. Especially in the boss encounters, the balance of the USA edition is supposedly made much tougher.<\/p>\n

To access the Japanese version, games industry member Alex Aniel suggests<\/a> changing your PS5, PS4’s system language to Japanese. You don’t get the option via region switching; it’s only available through a system language change.<\/p>\n

Nevermind\u2014to activate the Japanese binary, your PS4\/5 console language must be set to Japanese. Then the Japanese version of Onimusha Dawn of Dreams will play, with difficulty modes.<\/p>\n
