They remain locked in talks with Paris Saint-Germain for Bradley Barcola and Ibrahim Mbaye.<\/p>\n<p>Liverpool have agreed personal terms with Barcola and Mbaye but are concerned about the potential cost of striking a double deal with PSG.<\/p>\n<p>Anfield chiefs are monitoring the market for potential alternatives in case Barcola and Mbaye do not end up joining the club.<\/p>\n<p>David Ornstein revealed on Thursday afternoon that Liverpool had failed with a \u00a350m offer for Brighton\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.football365.com\/tag\/yankuba-minteh\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Minteh<\/strong><\/a>, who has been on their radar ever since previous head coach Arne Slot was in charge.<\/p>\n<p>The Athletic\u2019s Brighton correspondent Naylor has given Liverpool a serious boost by suggesting the 22-year-old will move to Anfield if the Reds increase their bid slightly.<\/p>\n<p><strong>READ: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.football365.com\/news\/summer-transfer-window-2026-midfielders-strikers-attacking-targets-big-six\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">This transfer window has been function over flair\u2026bring on the striker scramble<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2018On transfers, Minteh (to Liverpool) and Baleba (to Man Utd) will probably both end up happening, as the offers (50m and around 60m) are not that far away from making sense,\u2019 <a rel=\"noopener nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/AndyNaylorBHAFC\/status\/2090498479592206461\" target=\"_blank\">Naylor wrote<\/a> on X\/Twitter.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Big profits again and moves to big clubs for players given game time + developed. That\u2019s the model.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Brighton paid Newcastle United \u00a330m for Minteh in July 2024, so they stand to make at least \u00a320m of profit after just two years.<\/p>\n<p>Our friends at <a rel=\"noopener nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.teamtalk.com\/liverpool\/transfer-news-yankuba-minteh-bid-bradley-barcola-top-target-sources\" target=\"_blank\">TEAMtalk<\/a> have reported that Barcola remains Liverpool\u2019s No 1 winger target, despite their move for Minteh.<\/p>\n<p>Liverpool have also shortlisted Iliman Ndiaye and Rayan as possible solutions. But there are issues with both of those targets, as Everton do not want to sell Ndiaye to Liverpool, while Bournemouth value Rayan at over \u00a3100m.<\/p>\n<p>Liverpool are open to paying \u00a3120m for Barcola, seeing him as one of the best wide players around.
