In a sharply worded message posted on X (formerly Twitter), Netanyahu accused the leaders of London, Ottawa, and Paris of effectively rewarding Hamas for its \u201cgenocidal attack\u201d on October 7, 2023.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cA War of Civilisation Over Barbarism\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Netanyahu reaffirmed Israel\u2019s unwavering commitment to securing \u201ctotal victory\u201d against Hamas, echoing the stance of US President Donald Trump on resolving the conflict. He stated, \u201cBy asking Israel to end a defensive war for our survival before Hamas terrorists on our border are destroyed and by demanding a Palestinian state, the leaders in London, Ottawa and Paris are offering a huge prize for the genocidal attack on Israel on October 7 while inviting more such atrocities.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He described the conflict as, \u201cA war of civilisation over barbarism. The war can end tomorrow if the remaining hostages are released, Hamas lays down its arms, its murderous leaders are exiled, and Gaza is demilitarised.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He stressed that no nation could be expected to accept anything less, \u201cNo nation can be expected to accept anything less, and Israel certainly won\u2019t.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Netanyahu\u2019s statement follows a joint declaration issued earlier Monday by the UK, France, and Canada. The European leaders condemned Israel\u2019s expanded military campaign in Gaza, known as the \u201cGideon\u2019s Chariots\u201d offensive, which began on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>The statement criticized the \u201cintolerable\u201d human suffering in Gaza, highlighting Israel\u2019s restrictions on humanitarian aid and continued settlement expansions in the West Bank.
