\n\tSam Fender<\/a> and Olivia Dean<\/a>\u2019s \u201cRein Me In\u201d has earned a 22nd non-consecutive week at the summit of the U.K.\u2019s Official Singles Chart<\/a> published Aug. 21.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe song is currently the longest-running No. 1 of all time in the U.K., surpassing the previous record held by Frankie Lane, who achieved 18 weeks back in 1953 with \u201cI Believe.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe 22-week streak for \u201cRein Me In\u201d has seen a number of long-standing records tumble. It became the longest-running No. 1 of the 21st century and the longest-running ever by a British act after 16 weeks, surpassing Drake\u2019s \u201cOne Dance\u201d (2016) and Wet Wet Wet\u2019s \u201cLove Is All Around\u201d (1995), respectively.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tSpeaking to Billboard<\/a> this week, Capitol Music Group\u2019 CEO Tom March \u2014 who signed Fender to Polydor \u2014 discussed the song\u2019s ongoing success and his predictions for the Geordie-born act to break the U.S. \u201cRein Me In\u201d is up to a new peak of No. 50 on the Billboard Hot 100 <\/a>following the pair\u2019s performance at Lollapalooza.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cArtists build in a different way. My job is to understand how the artist wants to move and build a campaign and work with them, so they achieve their dreams,\u201d March said. \u201cThey do it in a way that\u2019s comfortable for them and a way that they want to do it. The song\u2019s been one of the biggest songs on TikTok in America for the last three or four months. He\u2019s building a whole new audience. It\u2019s a steady pace.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cDai Dai\u201d by Shakira and Burna Boy holds its position at No. 2, followed by Ella Langley\u2019s \u201cChoosin\u2019 Texas\u201d (No. 3) and \u201cMovin\u2019 to the Sun\u201d by Hugel, Imael Angel and Ultra Nat\u00e9.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tStella Lefty\u2019s \u201cBoston\u201d jumps four places to No. 4 to give her a new career high, while Sheffield DJ Silva Bumpa\u2019s \u201cOn 2nite\u201d lifts one spot to No. 9, also a career best.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tTame Impala and Steve Lacy continue to enjoy boosts following synchs in Spider-Man: Brand New Day<\/a> with \u201cLoser\u201d (No. 11) and \u201cOh yeah?\u201d (No. 18), respectively.<\/p>\n
