The \u2018Rethink Resources\u2019 project aims to change behaviours around consumption, waste and resources by working with leaders, older children and young people across the Wirral by exploring five everyday products in depth; a pair of jeans, a bottle of water, a games console, a bicycle and a takeaway meal.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Together with partners the Repair Cafe, Faiths4Change will be encouraging\u00a0young people\u00a0to consider the social, economic,\u00a0environmental\u00a0and cultural impacts of\u00a0the life cycle of\u00a0everyday objects. \u00a0They will\u00a0be\u00a0exploring alternatives\u00a0to waste\u00a0from composting to repair and supporting the development and delivery of young people led peer projects\u00a0to\u00a0motivate individual and group action to sustain\u00a0behaviour\u00a0change.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
Sharing and learning together will be enhanced by\u00a0programme support from\u00a0leaders from climate justice;\u00a0green education,\u00a0skills\u00a0and jobs; waste management\u00a0and sustainability\u00a0sectors who will\u00a0showcase\u00a0and offer next step options for young people\u00a0to move towards climate friendly futures.<\/p>\n
