We&#8217;ve reached out to Motorola for additional comment on the situation.<\/p>\n<p>When a potential customer asked on X about availability after the phones were not seen at the expected May 15 date, a Verizon rep <a data-i13n=\"elm:context_link;elmt:doNotAffiliate;cpos:3;pos:1\" class=\"link \" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/VerizonSupport\/status\/1923445918491083254\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:replied;elm:context_link;elmt:doNotAffiliate;cpos:3;pos:1;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\">replied<\/a> that the launch was &#8220;placed on hold.&#8221; The Verizon <a data-i13n=\"elm:context_link;elmt:doNotAffiliate;cpos:4;pos:1\" class=\"link \" href=\"https:\/\/www.verizon.com\/about\/news\/verizon-motorola-razr-2025-offers\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:blog post;elm:context_link;elmt:doNotAffiliate;cpos:4;pos:1;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\">blog post<\/a> announcing the plans and pricing for the Razr models has been updated to show a May 22 release date.<\/p>\n<p>Razr phones are still listed as available to buy at other mobile carriers. However some customers have taken to <a data-i13n=\"elm:context_link;elmt:doNotAffiliate;cpos:5;pos:1\" class=\"link \" href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/razr\/comments\/1kqf4nx\/usa_1tb_preorders_orders_being_cancelled_today\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Reddit;elm:context_link;elmt:doNotAffiliate;cpos:5;pos:1;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\">Reddit<\/a>, sharing that their orders have been delayed and speculating as to why.
