messages about the \u2018Butcher of Baghdad\u2019 emerged after the Pakistani sportsman vanished from his team hotel without his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thescottishsun.co.uk\/topic\/passport\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">passport<\/a> and return <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thescottishsun.co.uk\/topic\/flight\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">flight<\/a> ticket following the climax of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thescottishsun.co.uk\/topic\/glasgow\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Glasgow<\/a> 2026 earlier this month.<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">death<\/a> on live TV.<\/p>\n<p>The despot ruled from 1979 until 2003 and approved 30 different types of torture \u2014 including gouging out eyes, cutting in 2003, Hussein was dragged out of a hiding hole, then put on trial for crimes against humanity, convicted and executed in December 2006.<\/p>\n<p>Pledging his support, Ullah posted: \u201cI wish the infidels had not deceived you. Enemy of the infidels, King Saddam Hussein.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>It is thought the ex-president\u2019s regime was responsible for up to 500,000 deaths.<\/p>\n<p>In another post alongside a pic of Saddam, Ullah wrote: \u201cWe may die, we may be torn into pieces. But we cannot call someone who disrespects the Sahabah (companions of the prophet Muhammad) a Muslim.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tMost read in The Scottish Sun\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p>Ahead of his trip to Scotland last month, Ullah prayed that \u201cAllah Almighty grant me the best performance and success\u201d in a post that showed him at an airport departure gate along with a packed suitcase.<\/p>\n<p>It is not known whether Ullah has direct connections to Iraq.<\/p>\n<p>He is known to have trained at the same Glasgow gym as two fellow Pakistani fighters who previously absconded.<\/p>\n<p>Ullah was filmed using pull-down apparatus at the Kynoch <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thescottishsun.co.uk\/topic\/boxing\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Boxing<\/a> Gym in the city\u2019s Kinnock Park for a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thescottishsun.co.uk\/topic\/tiktok\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">TikTok<\/a> <a Credit: Getty<\/p>\n<p>The sports hub was previously a base for Suleman Baloch, 29, and convicted stalker Nazeer Khan, 27, who both absconded after competing at the 2022 Games in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thescottishsun.co.uk\/topic\/birmingham\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Birmingham<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Ullah was last seen in his hotel room six hours before he was due to meet teammates and head home.<\/p>\n<p>We told how Ugandan boxers Angel Katushabe, 21, Nuhu Batte, 22, Ibrahim Khemis, 20, and Emily Nakalema, 32, were also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thescottishsun.co.uk\/topic\/missing\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">missing<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>They are among 400 who have vanished from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thescottishsun.co.uk\/topic\/commonwealth\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Commonwealth<\/a> Games since 2002, including Glasgow 2014 plus other host cities in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thescottishsun.co.uk\/sport\/football\/team\/174344\/england\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">England<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thescottishsun.co.uk\/topic\/australia\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Australia<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thescottishsun.co.uk\/topic\/india\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">India<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Ullah, the Pakistan Boxing Federation and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thescottishsun.co.uk\/topic\/home-office\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Home Office<\/a> were approached for comment.<\/p>\n<p>More than 3,000 competitors from 74 countries competed in ten sports over 11 days. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thescottishsun.co.uk\/topic\/commonwealth-games\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Commonwealth Games<\/a> bosses said: \u201cWe have worked closely with police as athletes and staff departed to support a safe and secure conclusion to the event.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thescottishsun.co.uk\/topic\/police-scotland\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Police Scotland<\/a> confirmed they\u2019d had \u201creports of several athletes who are unaccounted for\u201d. <\/p>\n<p>A spokesman added: \u201cEnquiries are
