Mumbai Indians (MI) have signed three overseas replacement players, including Jonny Bairstow, for the ongoing 2025 season, it was confirmed by the
\nIndian Premier League (IPL)<\/a>
\non Tuesday. The Hardik pandya-led MI have signed Jonny Bairstow, Richard Gleeson and Charith Asalanka as replacements for Will Jacks, Ryan Rickelton and Corbin Bosch.<\/p>\n

Will Jacks, Ryan Rickelton and Corbin Bosch are set to leave the MI camp for national duties after the team\u2019s last league match. MI are still to play against Delhi Capitals (DC) on Wednesday and Punjab Kings (PBKS) on Monday.<\/p>\n

Jacks will be replaced by English wicketkeeper-batter Jonny Bairstow, who will join at a price of Rs 5.25 crore.<\/p>\n

English pacer Richard Gleeson will be a replacement for Ryan Rickelton at a reserve price of Rs 1 crore. Charith Asalanka will come in as a replacement for Corbin Bosch at a reserve price of Rs 75 lakh.<\/p>\n

The replacement players will be available from the playoffs stage onwards, should MI qualify.<\/p>\n

The MI vs DC match can decide the Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals\u2019
\nplayoff fortunes<\/a>
\n. MI will qualify for the IPL 2025 playoffs if they beat DC, who will be forced to settle for the fifth spot in the points table. But if DC win, both teams will stay alive in the race till their last league stage match.<\/p>\n
